This is a hand-painted oil-on-canvas original work of art. The painting is 30x30 inches on unframed and stretched canvas, which is ready to hang as-is, as the image is mirrored around the wrapped gallery-style canvas frame. However, it is possible for the buyer to have it framed at their favourite local shop. When I painted this image, I thought of a wide-open summer day, with no worries or cares in the world. It looks as if the trees are chasing each other up the hill, looking to see what other adventures they can find. The hill echoes the curved surface of the earth, as light trails from the moving trees, reminding the viewer of the earth's rotation around the sun. Curious streams of light and colour move about in the expanse of the summertime sky, possible events from other galaxies making their way to show off in the realms of Earth.
